The item is great - ordering from Vic Firth (Zildjian??) not so much

"I love their products, and I hate supporting middle vendors like Amazon or Sweetwater, so I try to order things directly from Vic Firth. However, they have some weird quirks when it comes to the ordering process. 1. I order from Vic Firth, and get a receipt from Zildjian. I had no idea Zildjian bought Vic Firth, and was very confused why I was getting a bill/ordering info from Zildjian. 2. They don't calculate local sales tax when you purchase the item - so they just assume the highest tax rate at checkout, then they refund you the remainder later. Which is annoying and not necessary. 3. When the box arrived it was HUGE! And all I ordered was 1 pair of drumsticks. You would think they would have a box size a little closer to fit a single pair of drumsticks. The box is came in was more like a long shoebox filled with tons of paper. Just seems like a waste to be honest. Overall - great product. Terrible ordering experience."

Love the tone, size and weight!

"As a hobbyist drummer (~6 yrs into my playing now) with average size hands, I love how these sticks feel and sound. I've been playing these sticks daily for about a year now. The diameter is perfect for my hand shape and the weight feels just right. Sometimes, with other sticks I'm maybe too conscious of the weight and where they're balanced, but with these I'm not thinking about any of that and I feel like my hands can move with efficiency. The tone of the tips on cymbal is pleasing to me and I feel like they deliver a solid crack on the snare. I hope these stay in production for years to come!"

Good bead shape and feel

"I know that there is methods used to get weight and pitch matched pairs of sticks but I feel like they're not consistent at all. Walking into a store I usually have to shuffle through at least 5 pairs of sticks to find a set that is actually pitch matched, and buying online it's always a hit or miss."

"My 11-year-old Grandson, Crew has been taking lessons for about a year now and has gotten really good at it playing the drums. He is in 3 different bands at New Song school, and he is getting better every single day. He blows my mind every time I go and see/hear him in concert. I bought him 7 pairs of Nate Smith drumsticks because he just loves them!"
