BRING BACK THE YELLOW GRIP

"I like them but wish they'd do a version with the yellow grip like they do with other sticks."

Perfect for my needs

"As someone who started childhood with SD1s, progressed to kit and marching snare in HS- ranging from jazz kit to marching, I've used a variety of sticks ranging from 5a to 5b and larger sizes. I've tried composites- like Ahead. I've played with many many things. For me I watched the videos of Beauford and listened to what he said- the neck taper is lovely, the head itself seems more resilient than 5bs- and I have some good balanced weight to throw around. For me, like many, I achieve 'speed' with a mid to heavy stick. For jazz even 5a is nearly too light for pieces that ebb from somber and slow tempo to double time at ff. Slow jazz or classics- yes 5a can be my choice- but honesty I've played with these sticks for a few weeks now and find they are now my all around go to. Get a pair- try them- i think many who play mid to fast tempo, combine rimshots, clicks, and a variety of cymbal techniques like shaft to cymbal edge- which can eat weak sticks- these seem great. Natural wood feel, no gimmicks, just a good proportioned stick."
