Good mallets. Prone to breaking?

"Not sure if mine was a bad batch or not, but the "medium" mallet's adhesive either wasn't right or wasn't strong enough because the ball end flew off during a recording session. It's not a difficult fix really. More like a minor inconvenience but it is mildly irritating that I have to re-glue the ball end back on. Other than that, they've been good."
