Scaled down version of the SRH. Perfect for indoor marching and smaller hands of young percussionists.
The Ralphie Jr. is an adaptation of Ralph Hardimon's original signature model. This scaled down version of the SRH is perfect for indoor marching and smaller hands of young percussionists.
Ralph Hardimon is a percussionist, teacher, composer, and clinician. He is best known for his work in the areas of marching percussion, rudimental drumming, drum & bugle corps, and marching band.
Hardimon's performance experience started in the late sixties with the Los Angeles Police Band, and later the Velvet Knights and Anaheim Kingsmen drum & bugle corps. He taught and studied with Fred Sanford and studied with Charles Dowd at the University of Oregon. Following Fred Sanford's departure after the 1980 season, Hardimon became Director of Percussion for the Santa Clara Vanguard in 1981 and kept that position through 1990, during which time SCV won four High Percussion awards (1978,1979,1988,1989) and three DCI World Championships.

"Grandson has already taped them with school colors and is looking forward to band practice at school this week!"

"I enjoy using these sticks to doodle on the practice pad. To me they are heavy and meaty. They feel good in my hands!"
— Brooks J. (5/5)
"It’s great for practicing stick tricks because it has the weight and feel of an average marching snare stick just thinner and easier to work with. They also last forever there is no telling how old these are they’ve been passed down for years at my high school."
— Griff B. (5/5)
"Got a pair of Ralph Jr sticks after buying what seems to be 3 dozen pairs to find the perfect fit. These sticks (and all my others) get wrapped with the blue rubber grip tape. These aren't the full thickness drum corps sticks their a bit thinner which I absolutely fell in love with. They're thick and light but still thin enough to take a beating. I found the perfect pair of sticks that I plan on buying in bulk!!!!!!!"

"excellent stick for young students learning rudimental lessons. I got this set of sticks for one of my young students, starting to get his double stroke roll and paradiddles under control. Good stick for getting to understand the rebound."
