Daniel Plentz is an Italo-Brazilian artist, music director, and multi-instrumentalist whose work explores the fusion of drums, percussion, electronics, and guitar through looping and sampling. Over his career, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as JET, Arto Lindsay, Ney Matogrosso, Enzo Jannacci, Marco Mengoni, Diodato, Daniele Silvestri, Gaia, Francesca Michielin, and many others.
Daniel's performances span prestigious venues like the Triennale Museum, and major festivals worldwide in Australia, Brazil, and Europe. He has opened tours for acts such as Muse, Kasabian, Liam Gallagher, and Gary Clark Jr., and concerts for Manu Chao, Devendra Banhart, Jungle and Alt-J.
Currently, Daniel plays drums and guitar with his band Selton, serves as the percussionist and music director for Nic Cester, and is the music director for Rockin’1000, a groundbreaking project that unites 1,000 musicians to perform spectacular stadium shows around the globe.
